Dear Brian,

Thank you for the gift of your time, belief and inspiration in me and for believing in my football skill at a very young age. I'm blessed that you took such a liking to me, simply through watching me play football on the street and I can really say that my confidence was boosted by your constant praises, to this I'm grateful!

Looking back, I'm honoured to have spent a good time chatting with you around Christmas season of 2021. You were kind, compassionate and certainly had humour! The memory shared will remain with me for a lifetime. To me, although you were a man of not too many words, I believe your eyes and expression spoke so much more. You always had a distinct light in his eyes, full of hope and cheer and that was extremely inspirational to me.

Sleep on Brian, I know you are resting peacefully in God.
